About Epoxy Flooring Cincinnati

Epoxy Flooring Cincinnati puts resin coatings on concrete: attached and detached garages, basements, workshops, warehouse aisles, kitchens, retail sales floors and back-of-house spaces. We work across the city and out into the Ohio suburbs and Northern Kentucky. Our systems are epoxy, polyaspartic, flake broadcast and metallic, and the choice between them waits until we have walked your floor and run our tests on it.

A lot of the concrete here is old. Point2Homes, drawing on Census figures, gives 1951 as the median build year for a Cincinnati home and shows 40.8% of local housing dating to 1939 or before. Floors that age have stories in them: paint from three owners ago, a patch over a pipe trench, a basement corner that darkens after rain. Newer slabs in Mason, West Chester or Union have their own issues, like curing compounds and sealers left from the builder. Either way, a coating can never outperform the concrete beneath it, so most of our time goes into the slab.

How a job runs

  • Walkthrough. We measure, look for cracks, spalls, low spots, oil and old coatings, and find out what the room gets used for day to day.
  • Testing. We check the slab for moisture coming up from below. Basements and pre-war garages get extra attention here.
  • Written quote. You get a number on paper naming the system, how many coats go down, what prep is included and what it all adds up to.
  • Grinding. Diamond tooling opens the surface so the resin grabs open, clean concrete instead of dirt or old sealer.
  • Repairs. Cracks, chipped joints and pitted areas are filled before any color goes down.
  • Coating. Ahead of every coat we read the air temperature, the humidity and the temperature of the concrete itself, and we hold off when the numbers say to.
  • Handover. You leave with set times for foot traffic, reloading the space and parking, plus cleaning instructions.

Lines we hold

We never roll a coating over a slab that failed its moisture test without a primer built for that condition. Grinding never gets skipped to save a day. And your price stays fixed once work begins, unless you sign a written change first.

What we ask of you

Clear the floor before install day, or tell us ahead of time if you need help planning around a shop full of tools. Let us know about past water in the space, a sump pump, or a previous coating that peeled. Those details shape the system we pick.

Phone (513) 822-5162 or send the request form, and we will line up a time to come look.
